Preview: Seminole Warhawks vs. Osceola Warriors

The Seminole Warhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Osceola Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Seminole's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Osceola has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Seminole scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tarpon Springs 65-21 at home. That looming 65-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Seminole yet this season.

Seminole had a senior duo take command as Devon Swartz scored 16 points along with two blocks and Laney Pearson scored 17 points. Swartz hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Ava Santore, who scored ten points.

Osceola won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were dealt a 86-14 loss at the hands of Lakewood. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Osceola in their matchups with Lakewood: they've now lost eight in a row.

Seminole is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Osceola, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Seminole against Osceola when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 51-22 victory. With Seminole ahead 27-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
