New Home waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Morton Indians a 20-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

New Home pushed their record up to 15-4-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Morton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
