Soccer Recap: Red Springs Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Red Springs can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bunn Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Red Springs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Red Springs' loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for Bunn, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Red Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bunn, they will venture away from home to take on Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bunn will need to watch out since Clinton have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches.
