Volleyball Recap: Prairie View's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Prairie View came into Monday's contest having lost 13 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buffalos have posted since September 6th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Prairie View who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 22-25, 27-25.

Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 6-24. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season.

Prairie View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Girard on the 20th. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Frontenac on the 20th.
