Basketball Game Preview: King Vikings vs. South Kent School Cardinals

The King Vikings will challenge the South Kent School Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. King knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully South Kent School likes a good challenge.

King will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Greens Farms Academy, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. King walked away with a 67-58 victory over Greens Farms Academy on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Kent School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Hoosac by a score of 58-47 on Wednesday. That 11 point margin sets a new team best for the Cardinals this season.

South Kent School's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for King, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
