Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to Mission Vista.

Aaron Jacobo made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Arenas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Mission Vista, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central will venture away from home to challenge Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mission Vista, they will be taking part in a tournament against Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
