While Dymally's victory against Hawkins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Challengers skirted past the Hawks 17-16. The win was familiar territory for the Challengers, who have now won eight games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Danah Albarran, who fired off two home runs, two doubles, and one triple while going 5-for-5. She has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rihanna Ruiz, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with two triples and one double.

Dymally now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hawkins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Dymally will take on George Washington Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Challengers will need to watch out since the Generals have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. Hawkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
