Basketball Recap: Bryce Valley Takes a Loss

Bryce Valley was the 44-42 winner over Piute when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Bryce Valley Mustangs and the Piute Thunderbirds didn't end well, with the Bryce Valley Mustangs falling 65-51. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Bryce Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Piute, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9.

Bryce Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Piute has already played their next matchup (against Escalante), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
