Softball Recap: Orange Vista Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Orange Vista entered their tilt with Paloma Valley on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Wildcats. That's two games straight that the Coyotes have won by exactly six runs.

The team relied heavily on Macai Johnson, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lina Robles, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Orange Vista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Orange Vista's record now sits at 9-5. As for Paloma Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
