Softball Game Preview: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles vs. Smith Jewish Day School Lions

The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles will square off against the Smith Jewish Day School Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will be strutting in after a victory while Smith Jewish Day School will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Model Secondary School for the Deaf turned things around against McLean on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 27-5 margin over McLean. That 22 run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Meanwhile, Smith Jewish Day School came up short against Bishop McNamara on April 3rd, falling 20-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-10. As for Smith Jewish Day School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf suffered a grim 21-3 defeat to Smith Jewish Day School in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
