Softball Recap: Winchester Red & Black vs. Lexington Minutemen

Winchester managed to slip by Lexington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red & Black lost 10-1 to the Minutemen on Thursday. The Red & Black were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Winchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

The Rockets will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Red & Black surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Belmont at 10:00 a.m. The Marauders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something the Minutemen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
