Baseball Recap: J.H. Rose Takes a Loss

J.H. Rose and North Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but J.H. Rose had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Owen Simmons spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

J.H. Rose's defeat dropped their record down to 28-6. As for North Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither J.H. Rose nor North Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
