Basketball Recap: Graham/Dustin Takes a Loss

Graham/Dustin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Olive Wildcats and fell 66-33. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Olive this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-40 last Monday.

Graham/Dustin's loss came despite strong showings from Isaiah Stout and Colt Whitt. Stout posted ten points and seven boards, while Whitt put up five points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks. That's the most points Whitt has posted since back in November of 2024. Jackson Elliot was another key player, putting up five points.

Even though they lost, Graham/Dustin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Graham/Dustin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Olive, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-14.

Graham/Dustin has already played their next contest (against Hanna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Olive does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
