Riverside Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Berwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Riverside Academy Rebels will be playing at home against the Berwick Panthers at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Riverside Academy got the win against Zachary by a conclusive 20-6. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Berwick, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Morgan City an 18-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Ann Marie Beadle and Jordyn Gaudet did most of the damage at the plate: Beadle scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Gaudet went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kumari Nadar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Riverside Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. As for Berwick, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Riverside Academy's way against Berwick when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Riverside Academy made off with a 12-2 win. Will Riverside Academy repeat their success, or does Berwick have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
