Soccer Recap: Weiss Gets the Win

Weiss kept a clean sheet against Georgetown on Friday. They came out on top against the Georgetown Eagles by a score of 2-0. Wolves found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Toyin Akindele and Neilyn Aguilera-Salas were both handed yellow cards.

Pranav Eakambaram and Stanley Odoms scored both of Weiss' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The win got Weiss back to even at 5-5-3. As for Georgetown, they now have a losing record at 7-8-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pflugerville the next time they take the pitch. Weiss will head out to face Pflugerville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Georgetown will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 14th.
