Softball Preview: Summersville Wildcats vs. Liberty Eagles
The Summersville Wildcats will square off against the Liberty Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Summersville came up short against Licking, falling 14-6. Summersville hasn't had much luck with Licking recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Kaylin Heiney was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Liberty never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Winona last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Wildcats.
