Landrum extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 16-5. They were the clear victors by a 19-7 margin over the Greenwood Christian Hawks. Considering the Cardinals have won 12 contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Greenwood Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 30th.

For Greenwood Christian's part, Leland Reed and Brycen Moore did some serious damage despite the final result: Reed went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Moore got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Michael Davis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Looking ahead, Landrum will square off against Blacksburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
