Basketball Recap: Ogemaw Heights Takes a Loss

Ogemaw Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 52-31 to the Shepherd Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 541st, while the Bluejays are ranked 178th).

Ogemaw Heights' record is now 1-6. As for Shepherd, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ogemaw Heights will square off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ogemaw Heights is facing Harrison at the right time seeing as Harrison is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Shepherd, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Shepherd Bluejays duke it out with the Farwell Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
