Soccer Game Preview: Clinton vs. Manchester

Clinton is 1-9 against Manchester since June of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Redskins are taking a road trip to take on the Flying Dutchmen at 5:00 p.m. Clinton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Clinton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Blissfield with a sharp 5-0 win. Give Clinton's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Manchester fell victim to Plymouth Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles. Manchester haven't had much luck with Plymouth Christian Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-3. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Clinton might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Manchester in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Redskins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
