Volleyball Recap: Loyola Academy Takes a Loss

Loyola Academy lost against Brother Rice back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ramblers fell 2-0 to the Crusaders. Ramblers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Crusaders since on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Loyola Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Brother Rice, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loyola Academy will take on rival Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brother Rice is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
