Astronaut came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Space Coast Vipers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the War Eagles yet this season.

One reason for the win was Astronaut's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Peyton Redfern paced Astronaut's offense, picking up 20 kills. Redfern got some help from Lesleigh Amos and her 22 assists. Jojo Demers and Siena Allotta kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Space Coast lost, don't look at Haley Cowling. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and one assist. Cowling is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Astronaut's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Space Coast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Astronaut has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Satellite on the 18th. As for Space Coast, they will host Eau Gallie at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
