Recap: Bishop Manogue Miners vs. McQueen Lancers
The Bishop Manogue Miners scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 76-50 margin over McQueen. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bishop Manogue has posted since December 19, 2023.
Leading Bishop Manogue to victory were Kaden Rowe and James Williams. Rowe scored 21 points along with two steals, while Williams scored 24 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowe has scored all season. Ben Scolari was another key contributor, scoring two points along with ten assists and eight rebounds.
McQueen's loss came despite strong showings from Kade Snyder and Alex Hancock. Snyder scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Hancock scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Hancock is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.
Bishop Manogue is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season. As for McQueen, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11.
