Maranatha Christian Academy was the 2-0 winner over Blaine when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bengals on Saturday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Maranatha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Blaine, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian Academy will square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blaine, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Champlin Park on the 29th.
