Soccer Game Preview: Annenberg vs. Central City Value

The Annenberg Panthers will challenge the Central City Value Jaguars at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Annenberg will be strutting in after a win while Central City Value will be coming in after a loss.

Annenberg is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over CALS Early College on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Annenberg considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Central City Value was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Downtown Magnets.

Annenberg has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matchups. As for Central City Value, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1.

Annenberg came out on top in a nail-biter against Central City Value in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
