Basketball Game Preview: Cameron Comets vs. Ladysmith Lumberjacks

For the first time this season, Cameron will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against the Ladysmith Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cameron will be strutting in after a win while Ladysmith will be coming in after a defeat.

Cameron is headed out to face Ladysmith after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Comets pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over Fall Creek on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ladysmith came up short against Stanley-Boyd last Thursday and fell 63-56.

Everything came up roses for Cameron against Ladysmith in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 72-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
