Softball Game Preview: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. North Moore Mustangs

Eastern Randolph is on a ten-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and North Moore a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Eastern Randolph Wildcats will welcome the North Moore Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Randolph has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern Randolph managed to slip by Western Alamance the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 15-0 to the Warriors on Monday.

Meanwhile, North Moore came up short against Western Harnett two weeks ago and fell 7-3.

North Moore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harleigh Carlyle, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Rain Stalker also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Eastern Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for North Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Eastern Randolph got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2017 against North Moore by a conclusive 12-5 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
