Soccer Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Takes a Loss

Sugar Creek Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Sugar Creek Charter haven't been shut out since back in March.

Sugar Creek Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Piedmont Community Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sugar Creek Charter is set to challenge their familiar foe Queen's Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Piedmont Community Charter will face off against rival Carolina International at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
