Baseball Recap: Jerome Comes Up Short

Jerome lost to Twin Falls on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 9-6 to the Bruins. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noah Ramsey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Jerome's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).

Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Twin Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jerome is set to challenge their familiar foe Burley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Twin Falls will face off against rival Wood River at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
