Softball Recap: Glendora Beats Bishop Alemany for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Glendora entered their tilt with Bishop Alemany on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Warriors.

Glendora saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Dominguez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most hits Dominguez has posted since back in March. Olivia Stemmler was another, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Glendora's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Alemany, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Glendora will venture away from home to challenge Bonita at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop Alemany, they will face off against Providence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pioneers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
