Wadsworth won the last time they faced Twinsburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Wadsworth never let Twinsburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Leading Wadsworth to victory were Ellie Wolf and Emily Snyder. Wolf had 15 digs and five assists, while Snyder had seven digs and one assist. Those five assists gave Wolf a new career-high.

Wadsworth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 13 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Wadsworth's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Twinsburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
