Basketball Recap: Blake Comes Up Short

Blake lost against Breck back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blake Bears lost to the Breck Mustangs on the road by a 66-51 margin. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Blake's defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Breck, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blake will head out to challenge Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Breck, they will head out on the road to square off against Mankato East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mankato East will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something Breck surely won't give up without a fight.
