Recap: Mountain Lakes Lakers vs. Parsippany Redhawks
The Mountain Lakes Lakers posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Parsippany and snuck past 43-40. Winning may never get old, but Mountain Lakes sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Several Redhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Niedermaier, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Cordasco, who scored eight points.
Mountain Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Parsippany, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Lakes will take on Hopatcong at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopatcong has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 26. As for Parsippany, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Kittatinny Regional at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
