Basketball Recap: Lake Howell Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

If Lyman wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lake Howell, they should've done a better job of containing Janiel De Los Santos. The Lake Howell Silverhawks came out on top against the Lyman Greyhounds by a score of 52-40 on Wednesday thanks in part to De Los Santos, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Devonn Quailey, who had eight points. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Lake Howell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Lyman, they dropped their record down to 7-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
