Football Game Preview: Fairfax vs. University

Fairfax will be playing at home against University at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Fairfax have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Fairfax didn't have too much trouble with Venice last Friday as they won 45-26. Junior Jordan Reed, who rushed for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Fairfax's success.

Meanwhile, University have been struggling to pick up a win, with their contest against Palisades making it three winless games in a row. University were completely outmatched, falling 0-35 to Palisades. University were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.

Fairfax's victory lifted them to 6-3 while University's defeat dropped them down to 1-7. The Fairfax defense got after the quarterback against Venice to the tune of six sacks, so University's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
