Volleyball Recap: Elmwood/Plum City Comes Up Short

The Elmwood/Plum City Wolves came up short against the New Auburn Trojans on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Krings paced Elmwood/Plum City's offense, picking up seven kills. Krings got some help from Polly Webb and her 15 assists. Webb also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adison Zeilinger, racking up two apiece.

Elmwood/Plum City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for New Auburn, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Elmwood/Plum City is taking a road trip to face off against Ladysmith at 5:30 p.m. on September 4. As for New Auburn, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Birchwood at 7:00 p.m. on September 11.
