Volleyball Game Preview: Arrowhead Christian Eagles vs. Ontario Christian Knights

The Arrowhead Christian Eagles will head out to square off against the Ontario Christian Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Arrowhead Christian has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Ontario Christian will arrive with seven straight victories.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Arrowhead Christian duked it out with Aquinas on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Arrowhead Christian couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Aquinas a tough time in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 28-30, 25-17, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Ontario Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Redlands Adventist Academy on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Ontario Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Arrowhead Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ontario Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Arrowhead Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Ontario Christian in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
