Basketball Game Preview: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Gilbert Tigers + Official Tickets

The Red Mountain Mountain Lions are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against the Gilbert Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Red Mountain saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seven Lakes.

While Gilbert didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past Independence with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 68-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Red Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Red Mountain came up short against Gilbert in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-47. Can the Mountain Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
