Volleyball Recap: Salinas' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Salinas had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Carmel Padres as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cowboys were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Padres, so the Cowboys were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: Carmel scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

Teagan Bell paced Salinas' offense, picking up 12 kills. Bell got some help from Ariana Devers and her 28 assists.

Salinas' victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Carmel, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Salinas is set to face off against their familiar foe Santa Catalina at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carmel will challenge rival King City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
