Softball Recap: Tascosa Comes Up Short

Tascosa fell victim to Lubbock and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Westerners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Westerners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on March 3rd.

Tascosa has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17-1 record this season. As for Lubbock, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7-3.

Coincidentally, Tascosa and Lubbock will both be playing Monterey the next time they take the field. The Westerners will head out to face the Plainsmen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rebels will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
