Pocono Mountain West never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Notre Dame on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 12-2 victory. With that win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on AJ Depasqua, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brady Behr, who scored two runs and stole four bases.

Pocono Mountain West hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matches.

The victory got Pocono Mountain West back to even at 2-2. As for Notre Dame, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
