Passers beware: Kyle Cummings came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up 65 receiving yards as Northwest Whitfield took down Dalton 62-42. We hope Cummings' good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Cummings and Northwest Whitfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. The Bruins are 8-2 against the Raiders going back to September of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
