Baseball Game Preview: East Bay Indians vs. Manatee Hurricanes

East Bay heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They fell 3-0 to Manatee. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Cameron Cook was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, East Bay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rory Beauford, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Manatee's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for East Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
