La Salle Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Chariho Chargers 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Gia DeNinno looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, La Salle Academy let Phoenyx Silva and Diana Hall run wild. Silva went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Hall went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Hall has posted since back in April. Kayleigh Ventura was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
La Salle Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matchups.
