Soccer Game Preview: Burroughs vs. Arcadia

The Burroughs Bears will head out to square off against the Arcadia Apaches at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Burroughs turned things around against Hoover on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tornados.

Meanwhile, Arcadia hadn't done well against Pasadena recently (they were 0-7-2 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Apaches were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The matchup was close at halftime, but Arcadia turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Burroughs' record is now 6-9-2. As for Arcadia, their record now sits at 5-11.

Burroughs beat Arcadia by a goal in their previous meeting on January 7th, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
