Baseball Recap: Chardon Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Chardon's offense. They came up short against the Riverside Beavers on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 10-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Chardon got a good showing from Clayton Hallam, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Chardon dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Riverside, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Chardon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against University School on the 11th. As for Riverside, they have also already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against St. Edward on the 10th.
