Northeast had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Cheatham County Central Cubs with a sharp 6-3 victory on Tuesday. For Northeast, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win Cheatham County Central walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Northeast's offense was hitting Cheatham County Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Dakota Haupt led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will face off against Overton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cheatham County Central, they will square off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
