Basketball Recap: Clearwater Comes Up Short

Clearwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 73-59 fall against the Naylor Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fightin' Tigers of the 54-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Clearwater's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Naylor, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Clearwater won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bunker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fightin' Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Naylor, they will take on Cooter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
