Roosevelt faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Rough Riders came up short against the Patriots, falling 7-0. Roosevelt haven't had much luck with Lincoln recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for Lincoln, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.
