Volleyball Recap: Legend Takes Down Ranked Chaparral

Legend faced Chaparral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolverines. The victory was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Legend had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

Addison Reed paced Legend's offense, picking up 15 kills. Reed got some help from Max Roberts and his 46 assists. Finally, Cruz Crandall kept Legend's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Legend's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Chaparral, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Legend will square off against rival Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chaparral is set to challenge their familiar foe Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
