Soccer Game Preview: Sycamore vs. Central + Official Tickets

The Sycamore Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sycamore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Sycamore is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Charles East just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Sycamore happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 29th.

Their goal came courtesy of Noah Carlson, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Central didn't have quite enough to beat Dundee-Crown on Tuesday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Dundee-Crown are ranked 35th).

Sycamore's draw gives them a new season record of 16-7-1. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.
